What kind of yacht should we charter for the Saronic?
Your sailing holiday can be tailored to your preferences. Details such as how many people are you sailing with and if there are couples traveling together or single guests that require private cabins will determine the type and size of boat we recommend. You can choose a catamaran, for more luxurious and comfortable vacations, ideal if you are traveling with small kids. Catamarans are bigger boats, and they need the experience to navigate, especially in the peak of "Meltemi” winds, so it is suggested to have a skipper on board. You can choose a mono hull sailboat, for a more exciting and adventurous trip with a "real sailing feeling”, perfect for island hopping and easy to dock in the small marinas of Saronic.
I am afraid I might get seasicksea-sick. Is sailing in the Saronic an easy trip?
Sailing in the Saronic is not like sailing in the Atlantic. With more than thirty islands and sheltered coves available, if there is a day with strong wind and you don't feel comfortable sailing, you stay in port, swim, eat, drink, and see the island's sights that the island has to offer. When the wind is tame, you sail a few hours, find a lovely nice cove to swim, sail a little more, and be you are in the next port. Most of the Saronic islands are between 2 and 4 hours of sailing apart, so relief is always nearby even if you get sick.
