The climate in the Greek islands of Saronic is typical of the Mediterranean climate: mild and rainy winters, relatively hot and dry summers and, generally, extended periods of sunshine throughout most of the year. During the warm and dry periods, the weather is usually stable, the sky is clear, the sun is bright, and there is generally no rainfall. The warm period starts in April and lasts until the end of October. The warmest period occurs during June, July and August, when fresh sea breezes temper the high temperatures are tempered by fresh sea breezes in the country's coastal areas of the country and from the north winds, known as ''Meltemi'', strong winds blowing mainly in the Aegean sea.

Sailing in the Saronic is not like sailing in the Atlantic. With more than thirty islands and sheltered coves available, if there is a day with strong wind and you don't feel comfortable sailing, you stay in port, swim, eat, drink, and see the island's sights that the island has to offer. When the wind is tame, you sail a few hours, find a lovely nice cove to swim, sail a little more, and be you are in the next port. Most of the Saronic islands are between 2 and 4 hours of sailing apart, so relief is always nearby even if you get sick.
